    1. Video recorded exam 
    2. Six Standardized PASS Patients
      1. Video Recorded Clinical Encounters
      2. Patient/Physician scored feedback from each patient
      3. Receive performance checklist and recommendations for optimal success
    3. Review your video recordings of PASS Patient Encounters with a PASS Physician
    4. Summary and analysis of your PASS CS Performance from a PASS physician
    5. Keep your PASS Patient Encounter DVD Recording and scored clinical notes
  3. Availability
    1. Any two consecutive days of the week or weekends
    2. Arrangements can be made with at least a 3 day notice
    3. No minimum or maximum members are needed in a group
    4. Cost: $750 (housing: $50/day, if requested)

 

Medical School Head Start Program

PASS Medical School Head Start Program is a preview of the medical school environment and curriculum for the student who wants to start off their journey with a considerable advantage. Not only is the Head Start program an excellent foundation for underrepresented minority, educationally or financially disadvantaged or non-traditional students, but the program can benefit anyone because you will be learning and practicing skills that will help you to stand out as an exceptional medical student and one day, a great physician.

In addition to 4 weeks of classroom instruction, with a preview of much of the first year's curriculum in the topics of:

  • Physiology
  • Biochemistry
  • Pharmacology
  • Behavioral Science
  • Microbiology & Immunology
  • Anatomy & Embryology

You will also receive the following:

  • Small group sessions covering:
  • Study Strategies
  • Exam Taking Skills for Medical School
  • Time Management
  • Stress Management
  • Preparing for boards
  • Unlimited use of computer lab (during Center hours)
  • Mentoring

The Head Start Program is offered each June, July and August.
4 Week Program: $3,000.00
4 week Housing (if needed):$800 (includes $100 refundable security deposit
