PASS USMLE
To pass the USMLE, a student or graduate of a foreign medical school must be able to draw on his or her understanding of the basic and clinical sciences in order to make an accurate patient diagnosis or case management decision. Since most USMLE study programs are based on cramming 4 years of medical school into a 30 or 60 day review, the student is simply completing the course to memorize as much as possible before they take the USMLE or COMLEX exam. At PASS Program South, we have developed a revolutionary new approach that teaches students how to understand the concepts of physiology and how to apply what they were taught in medical school to his or her practice of medicine.
Each PASS Program USMLE test preparation course focuses on helping students understand the why and how of the body's physiology to make knowledge-based decisions about the disease process and patient management. This way, passing the USMLE does not rely on a student's short-term memorization of material that they never understood in the first place but allows the examinee to think their way through each question and to identify the most correct answer. Our PASS USMLE review course utilizes proven concepts that help each student integrate the material they learned about basic sciences with the clinical applications that they will use throughout their practice of medicine.
Physician Assisted Student Success
When you select PASS Program South for your USMLE prep, you will be taught how to think things out for yourself and will learn why we do what we do as physicians. The PASS method will introduce you to a more accurate and efficient method of applying your knowledge and make taking the USMLE or COMLEX a much easier task. Many of our courses (as well as our tutoring) are conducted by former PASS Program students who have already passed the USMLE and are eager to share their test experiences and the knowledge they acquired from attending the PASS USMLE program. These students how a solid understanding of how a single concept can be used to explain a thousand details.
It is no longer necessary for you to sacrifice your social life and all of your free time to memorize information that may or may not be on the USMLE or COMLEX exams. Instead, by learning the fundamentals of Physiology, you will be able to integrate your knowledge in a clinically meaningful way to better understand complex medical issues. By breaking a simulated patient encounter or test question down into its basic concepts, passing the USMLE will become a manageable goal rather than a test of your short-term memory. Plus, it is far more important for a physician to understand one concept and know how to clinically integrate that knowledge than to memorize a thousand details.
At PASS Program South, we believe in your dream and want you to become a confident clinical physician. Our staff will do everything we can to help you pass the USMLE. If your career does not look so promising due to a poor academic history, our individualized teaching sessions can help you develop into an academically strong and spiritually empowered physician.
